DZX-E1 is designed for the experiments covering the courses of Analog electronics technology, Digital electronics technology and EDA technology & application which address the requirements of colleges or vocational schools. The equipment consists of basic unit and a desk with metal framework. The basic unit is equipped with the functional blocks which are analog electronics board, digital electronics board, power supply, signal source and instruments etc. The connection leads are fitted with 2mm stackable shrouded safety connectors made from double insulated cable. Safety has been paramount during the development of this equipment and every effort has been made to protect both the user and instruments.<br />

<strong> (1) Control panel</strong><br />
<strong>AC power supply</strong><br />
Single-phase 3-wire 220V power supply with the function of leakage protection (turn off the power supply automatically in the event of any leakage current exceeds the nominal value) and with red LED pilot lamp and a digital AC voltmeter.<br />
<strong>DC power supply</strong><br />
1) Two-way ±5V@1A and two-way ±12V@1A with the functions of short-circuit soft cutoff & auto recovery provided for each circuit.<br />
2) Two-way 0.0~30V@1A continuous adjustable power supplies, functions of short-circuit cutoff & auto recovery are provided and with digital display voltmeter.<br />
The continuous adjustable output voltage 0~±30V or 0~60V can be get through proper connection between the two 0.0~30V@1A.<br />
3) Commercial power<br />
A. AC continuous adjustable power supply: 0~250V (UA) and 0~25V@1A (UB) (it is output through the single-phase auto-transformer and then isolated through the step-down transformer)<br />
B. 220V commercial power is available at both side sockets of the equipment<br />

</strong>It is capable of generating sine wave, square wave, triangle wave, pulse wave and ramp etc.<br />
Output frequency can be varied from 0.2Hz to 2MHz (is divided into seven sub-range)<br />

Single pulse source: two-way positive & negative pulse output and four-way positive pulse output.<br />
Counter pulse: frequency is continuous adjustable (0.5Hz~300kHz)<br />
Standard frequency pulse point: 22 (Qn=4194304Hz/2n).<br />
<strong>(4) Instruments</strong><br />
1) Transistor tester: it is used to measure the common-emitter output characteristic curve and amplifier gain of the transistors (both NPN and PNP).<br />
2) Digital IC tester<br />
It is available to measure the performance of TTL, CMOS series ICs and identify the types of ICs.<br />
3) Digital true RMS AC millivoltmeter (two)<br />
It is available to measure the RMS valve of sine wave, triangle wave and square wave<br />
Measuring range: 0.2mV~600V (is switched into 6 sub-range)<br />
Resolution: 0.1mV.<br />

4) Frequency meter<br />
It is CPLD-based and has the features of wide measuring range, high accuracy and high sensitivity etc. The A/D conversion circuit and logical control CPU are equipped.<br />

Sensitivity: 35mV (0.1Hz~500kHz)//300mV (500kHz~100MHz)<br />

5) DC digital voltmeter/ammeter (four in all)<br />
It consists of A/D converter IC: 7107 and 4 common-anode LEDs.<br />
Switched ranges for the voltmeter: 200mV, 2V, 20V, 200V. Input impedance: 10MΩ, accuracy: 0.5%.<br />
Switched ranges for the ammeter: 2mA, 20mA, 200mA, 2000mA. Accuracy: 0.5%.<br />
<strong>(5) Multi-function logic test pin</strong><br />
It is used to measure the high level, low level, intermediate level, Hiz and pulse five states.<br />

It has the function of set & display time and alarming at expire time.<br />

<strong>(13) Experimental function board</strong><br />
1) It is divided into digital electronics and analog electronics, all the connection are accomplished on the backside of the board while the symbols and diagrams specific to each module are clearly silk-screened on the faceplates.<br />
2) DIP IC sockets and sockets for components connection are provided.<br />
3) Experimental modules including: single transistor/feedback amplifier, emitter follower, oscillator with RC series/parallel network, differential amplifier and LF OTL power amplifier, digital and analog EDA download board are provided.<br />
The experimental modules can be fixed by the four blue sockets (flexible) (which have already installed on the board).<br />
4) Components<br />
Oscillation coil, relay, thumbwheel switch, pushbutton, crystal oscillator, rectifier bridge, diodes, music IC, capacitors, many multi-turn potentiometers and carbon-film potentiometers.<br />
<strong>(14) Desk<br />
</strong>The desk is used for mounting power supply panel, components and instruments. It is moveable with integrated multi-direction wheels and height-adjustable feet to compensate for uneven flooring. The desk top is heat resistant, waterproof and made of highly-compressed board. The cabinet part with drawers, doors is for holding items associated with experiments.<br />
